Analyze a top blog

In my opinion, the blogger I have previously spoken about, Cam in The Hiking Life, is one of the best bloggers about the subject of hiking.

In a previous blog, I recommended that you guys check out some of his blogs which offer relevant tips for those going on hikes.

While he offers a lot of tips, his blog offers everything readers could possibly need to know and want to know on the subject of hiking.

Just to highlight and sum up his blog, his topics range from different hikes, how to plan trips, different gear that is useful for hiking, different skills for hiking, as well as trip consulting.
He posts quite often, which is nice for those of you who like his blog and want to stay up to date on his blog posts.

This blogger has done very well at covering a wide range of topics that will answer pretty much all questions that readers may have, which is ideal for a blog. He has over 43 pages of posts that are all relevant for readers looking to get more information such as tips, trails to hike, and more.

He has experience hiking in six different continents, so he can also reach a variety of readers around the world, instead of just readers particular to the United States. Not only can you read about areas to hike within the United States, but you can read about areas all throughout the world to gain insight on what it is like hiking in different countries.


I have nothing but positive things to say about this blog, and if you have any unanswered questions I would highly suggest checking out his blog.

In Baraboo, Wisconsin, Devil’s Lake State Park resides which offers several different trails, as well as a lake. I want to talk about this state park because not only is it a great place for hiking, but because I have actually been hiking it since I was a little girl. Devil’s lake is pretty big, offering about 30 miles of trails throughout the park, and has cabins in case any of you were interested in making a trip out of coming here. Mystic Island Lake, Colorado

Mystic Island Lake! Mystic Island Lake is a lake is that is located outside of Vail, Colorado. It is in close proximity to Aspen, Colorado, which I have touched on quite a bit in my previous posts. Mystic Island Lake can be accessed by hiking Lake Charles first, which will lead you to Mystic Island Lake. While I have not personally hiked this trail, I have looked into it because of the close proximity to Aspen. It is nestled in the White River National Forest, which I have traveled to, and I wish I would have know about this place when I traveled to it, but now I can just plan another trip to check it out. It is rated as a long, difficult hike. It is about 9 miles out and back, with some very steep parts of the trail and difficult terrain to walk on. I have mentioned before that when I was in Colorado, we were hiking part of the trails in the snow. So I am going to strongly recommend that for this hike, you pack some type of snow shoe. Ramona Falls, Oregon

Ramona Falls! Ramona Falls is located about an hour east of Portland, Oregon, and you guessed it; features a stunning waterfall at the end of the hike! The hike is about 7 miles long and has been reviewed as easy to moderate, so it is doable for beginners, and especially doable for more experienced hikers. I have been to Oregon once, and let me tell you, it’s a beautiful place. When I had the opportunity to go to Oregon, I did quite a bit of hiking and it filled with lots of green forests and stunning overlooks at the top of each hike.
